It is the second day of the 'Literature Roadtrip'! I was, unfortunately, really busy today. I haven't been able to spend a lot of time on each deviant, however, I have managed to read a number of their works, and I must say: I am extremely impressed. These three deviants, Lady-Yume, AyeAye12 and LionesseRampant, are incredibly talented, and each of them deserve to have more people visit their profiles, and comment and favourite their work. I urge you all to do so.

You will be amazed by Lady-Yume's talent when you read through her beautiful work. The imagery is simply astounding, the way she threads her words together will never leave you. Her work is both memorable and honest, making the pieces incredibly powerful. Her piece 'Everlasting Shores' has an amazing and satisfying ending, and 'Summer of Change' and 'True North' will leave you speechless.

AyeAye12's pieces are simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I absolutely love the fact that he has taken relatable subjects and created pieces which makes his readers think. I could definitely relate with the piece 'Maths Class', which by the way is a very humorous piece. He is extremely talented, and you will find yourselves pouring through his collection of literature with amazement. They are all wonderful pieces.

:thumb357610125:  moonsongthe crescent moons bitten into my palms
break apart the hard worn lines written
there. a fortune teller told me
it was just a matter of time before my
universe crashed in on itself
and my stars ripped themselves apart.
your gray-sky-eyes swallowed me whole
and i fell down, down, down
while your piano key fingers played
my melody one last time.
  Simple WisdomThe old man's words swirled
around the room with the smoke
from his cigar.
"Well, since you asked,"
was coughed from his wizened
throat. "Save as much money
as you possibly can.
Don't buy cable. Read.
Write. A lot. Read some more.
Take pictures of extra ordinary things.
Print your pictures,
frame them.
Handwrite all of your mail,
and lick the stamps yourself.
Travel the world, and
collect friends wherever you go.
Live simply.
Oh, and don't try to keep up
with the Jones. They will covet
your simplicity. Your resourcefulness.
Your contentment.
Never listen to a bank
when they say you can afford
a certain sized house.
Divide that in half.
Okay, I'm done.
But you asked.
Now,
go to sleep."

:thumb354967792:  siren's abyssyour metallic voice drips off your tongue,
acid burning through my paper skin.
a siren song drifts though my mind;
i am a ship crafted from the daily news
being pulled in by your gravity,
sinking your raven colored abyss-eyes
and crashing into your rocky shores.
  hanging from the rafters in the skyclocks in a motel room;
the years go by like one day
with these old photos in my hands.
how do cities understand?
that by skating on the edge of the world
we carve north stars in Styrofoam
on the edge of reality.
we are all waiting to be found
when stars die.
                (i used to have a name)
now i'm dreaming of the simple things,
and i'm ready to fight my way.
somebody told me:
        "i have loved the stars too fondly."
between gray and gold
there are flaking photographs and shattered memories;
the heartlines of drunken sinners chasing stars.
cold hearted, you bound our spines.
        breathe.
                (and breathe out)
it is not enough to know the colors of my soul,
like a painting hung all wrong, or
and unwanted diary.
dreams catch in the lungs.
        let go, little bird.
                (but don't forget me)
without you, my fickle muse,
the city daydreams,
        desperate to connect with
the world near your feet.

The way that LionesseRampant' writes is incredible. The imagery is beautiful, especially in the two pieces 'clockwork mechanics' and 'Simple Wisdom'. Those two pieces really showcase her talent for creating such spectacular imagery, which grab readers instantly. Her writing is simply wonderful, her choice of words is incredible and you will not be disappointed when you look through her gallery.
